Covid-19 Study – The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted the world causing disruptions in every sphere of life. This study looks specifically at the disruption and impact of the Virus on the Barbadian Services Sector. The BCSI in collaboration with the Caribbean Institute of Management Consultants (Barbados Chapter) designed this study to identify the challenges faced by the Sector as a result of the pandemic and to provide strategies to minimize the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the local services sector.

This 2013 study of the Professional Services sector in Barbados examines the relationship between the economic development of Barbados, its educational needs, and the development of the local professional services sector. Building on this strategy the BCSI has commenced the development of a new strategy 2021-2025 which will aid in the creation of a more robust services sector and economy.
